Townsville Sub-Branch Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia, Inc. (Now you know why we refer to ourselves simply as VVAA Townsville). We are a Not For Profit (NFP) Organisation whose aims are to enhance the life of Veterans of all conflicts. This is done by operating a volunteers Pension and Welfare Section helping Veterans receive their correct entitlements to Government assistance. Provision also extends to a counselling and referral service for members of the ADF, past and present and this organisation has provided information and assistance to Veterans from conflicts as recent as the Solomons, Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as Vietnam, Korea and WWII.
